Audax Australia Regional Ride Limitations (updated 28 Oct 2021)
Guidelines for the resumption of Audax rides in Australia are contained in the Audax Australia Framework for Resuming Rides.
Please read these guidelines as they contain important information for Regions, Riders and Ride Organisers.
| ACT | – Masks mandatory indoors only – Proof of vaccinations not required to participate – ACT region rides can venture into nearby NSW but not Greater Sydney – All calendar rides and Permanents running as normal – Check in at establishments such as shops required using Checkin CBR App or Services NSW app Any queries should be via https://audax.org.au/australian-capital-territory/#tab-contactus |
| NSW | – For rides in Greater Sydney: – The route cannot go outside Greater Sydney (see https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/rules/rules-for-fully-vaccinated-people-nsw#greater-sydney-map) – There is a limit of 50 people, all of who must be fully vaccinated – The RO has to check the vaccination status of the participants – Permanent Rides are permitted providing the route remains inside a single local government area (as long as that local government area isn’t one of those on the “areas of concern” list). | Qld | – Permanent Rides and Calendar Events are permitted without restrictions. Any queries should be via https://audax.org.au/queensland/#tab-contact |
| SA | – Permanent Rides and Calendar Events are permitted with restrictions. – Riders need to comply with any applicable restrictions (masks, check-in etc) when they visit cafes and the like. Any queries should be via https://audax.org.au/south-australia/#tab-contactus |
| Tas | – Permanent Rides and Calendar Events are permitted without restrictions. Any queries should be via https://audax.org.au/tasmania/#tab-contactus |
| Vic | – Calendar rides are permitted across all of Victoria. All riders must be fully COVID vaccinated. – Permanent rides are permitted across all of Victoria. No COVID vaccination requirements. – Riders need to comply with any applicable restrictions (masks, check-in etc) when they visit cafes and the like.
