Maintain a Permanent Ride
Responsibility: Ride Organiser
Process:
Over time, the route may be impacted by changes to:
- road surface conditions,
- road traffic patterns,
- shop/cafe opening hours or food quality, and
- other elements.
Maintain the Permanent Ride by adjusting the route and controls to overcome any negative impacts and take advantage of positive impacts.
The route in RideWithGPS and the information in Organise > Manage Permanents must be maintained.
Ask for feedback from riders about ways to improve the route.
If the Ride Organiser can no longer maintain the Permanent Ride, it should be transferred to another Ride Organiser or disabled.
