Create a Banner

Ride Organisers are encouraged to create a banner for all Permanents and Events.

  1. Find an image that best represents your ride.
    It should have a minimum width of 600px
  2. Go to your favourite editor
    Upload the image
    As an option, you can manipulate the image

    Example: lunapic.com Upload
  1. Crop the image to be width:height ratio 2:1

    Example: lunapic.com Edit > Crop Image
  1. Add the name of the Permanent or Event as text

    Example: lunapic.com Draw > Text Tool
  1. Add the Audax Australia logo

    Example: lunapic.com Effects > Blend two Images
  1. Save image

    Example: lunapic.com File > Save Image
     
  2. Then add it to your Permanent or Event

Step-by-step procedure for using AI to create an Audax banner:

Step 1: Open AI Tool

Open your AI tool and start a new conversation:

Step 2: Generate the Background Scene
  • Request a landscape 2:1 aspect-ratio graphic.
  • Upload any reference photos you plan to use, or
  • Describe the scene specifically: specify the terrain, time/light, mood.
  • (Optional) Ask to overlay a GPS route map or fuse an uploaded route image into the background.
Step 3: Add the Official Logo
  • audax-logos.zip
  • Instruct the AI to place the exact supplied Audax logo (e.g., top-left or top-right).
  • Explicitly command the AI not to redraw, alter, or crop the circular logo.
  • Ask for a subtle contrast panel behind the logo if the background is too dark or busy.
Step 4: Add Event Details

Prompt the AI to overlay the event details:

  • Title & Distance: Make these the largest text
    (e.g., Monaro 300).
  • Key Details: Include location below the title.
Step 5: Review & Reformat
  • Proofread the final image for spelling errors and logo accuracy.
  • Export and publish to your event post.
