Wow, this ride didn’t disappoint for sure, For a 200BRM I have to say it’s a beauty and a beast, a challenging ride adventure worthy of its title. The constant rolling terrain from start to finish on a hard, rough surface and the great climb up to Jimna ask for some good legs and a strong mind. A few attacks by the magpies along the way, the temp getting def warmer (up to 38 at some climbing sections in the afternoon) and a section of back-burning all add to the drama or is it the fun 😅🤔😂. 7 brave souls at the start, and soon it was just Jesse and myself at the front ahead of the rest, Kilcoy was the first stop, a quick sandwich and a Bundy Ginger Beer and ready for some more scenic climbing up to to old Fire tower in Jimna, where we filled-up the water bottles and started the return trip back to Fernvale via Kilcoy for an other sandwich and Bundy GB. By that time I was on a solo mission over the rolling terrain towards Somerset Dam finally back to Fernvale. Massive tx to Ral for organizing this ride.
