Victoria is one on the most active randonneuring regions in the world. Our large membership base allows Victoria to provide a full calendar of varied rides all year round. There are few weekends when you will not find an Audax ride somewhere in the state. Victoria's climate is well suited to cycling and the differing terrain, often on quiet roads, makes it easy to ride all day.
Coastal panoramas that are world renowned such as the Great Ocean Road, Phillip Island, Wilsons Promontory or Port Phillip provide glorious backdrops to some great rides. Then there are historic gold mining towns in the central districts of Bendigo, Ballarat, and Maryborough often hosting or on the route of many superb rides.
The Great Dividing Range frequently throws up its share of challenges in several rides quite close to Melbourne and don't forget the Victorian Alps for some classic climbs. All areas though, whether on the plains, in the hills, in the forests, farmland or arid areas of Victoria will offer you some exceptional cycling experiences when you ride with Audax.
Rides from 50k to 1200k, both supported and unsupported, provide riders every sort of challenge and some first class enjoyment.

Ready for some longer rides?
From February through to October, the Victoria Region has a great selection of 600km+ rides scheduled in 2016.
These longer rides will provide good training for Great Southern Randonnée 1000/1200 (13-18 November 2016). If you're keen, then please note that registration for this event opened on 15 April 2016 and has been very popular - but you can still join the waiting list.
Permanents
Victoria also has a large selection of permanents available for members to ride at any time.
The Brevets Permanent List has pages and pages of excellent routes for members to try.
