Ride Awards

Audax Australia Ride Medallions

Riders successfully completing an Audax Australia event can purchase a medallion in recognition of their achievement.

  • Audax Australia medallions are available for brevets of 50 – 1000 km,
  • International Audax medallions are available for BRM and LRM brevets,
  • Cloth patches are available for dirt ride brevets.

Ride Medallions are applied for when registering for the ride.

Audax Australia Awards

There is a range of seasonal and cumulative awards for members.
Audax awards, including qualifying criteria and limitations, are documented in the Awards Policy.

Each successfully completed ride may count towards awards in differing categories:

How to apply for Audax Awards

Awards can be applied online. Go to Rides > My Awards
You will need to login using your membership email address and password.

Award Application Window

Awards can only be submitted between 14 October 2023 and 8 December 2023 with the following caveats:

  • For the ACP Randonneur 5000 and 10000 Awards, you must apply by 31 October 2023.

Award Application Forms

Award Application Forms should only be used for:

It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure the form is completed and complies with the Awards Policy. Applicants may be required to substantiate claims with proof.

Forms should be sent to the Awards Secretary who can be contacted via email at On receiving an award application the Award Secretary will acknowledge the application with a receipt. If you don’t receive the receipt please follow up to ensure your application has been received.

International and Pre-2014 Australian Brevets

Numerous Audax Awards allow for the inclusion of international brevets

Also, Pre-2014 Australian brevets may not be in the database

To provide for this, a Member may request International and Pre-2014 Australian Brevets be included in My Rides.

To request this, go to My Ride History and click +Add Homologation

An International Brevet is only approved if it meets the following criteria:

Super Randonneur (SR)
Brevet Union des Audax Francais (BUAF)
Flèches Nationales (Fleche)
The brevet is homologated in accordance with the rules of the appropriate governing body
Brevet Permanent RAID (BPR)In accordance with the Awards Policy including:
– the RAID shall be registered and verified
– 400 km minimum distance
– completion time shall be an average of 100 km/day or greater
The approved International RAIDs are:
Le Raid Pyrénéen (Hiker: 720 km, 100 hrs)
Le Raid Pyrénéen (Tourist: 800 km, 8 days not 10)
Côte d’Azur-Léman RAID French Alpine (712 km, 7 days)
Léman-Adriatic RAID (1175 km, 11 days)
