- Single loop LRM 1200 starting and finishing in Robinvale
- Single loop BRM 1000 starting in Robinvale and finishing in Beulah
- Point to point BRM 200 to take you back to Robinvale at the end of the 1000 .
The rides are partially supported. Bed, breakfast and dinner, and a bag drop (cabin luggage) following you to each sleep checkpoint at Jerilderi, Rochester, and Warracknabeal. (Famous for the Jerilderi Letter, and the birthplaces of Oppy & Nick Cave.) Accommodation is a motel or cabin, hence the expensive entry. You need to make your own accommodation arrangements in Robinvale. The ride starts and finishes at the Riverside Caravan Park, so that might be the obvious choice. Other options are available in Robinvale or in nearby Euston.
The rides have challenging gaps without supplies through the open spaces of the Riverina, Wimmera and Mallee. You will need to be prepared to carry sufficient water and food to ride up to 100 km. There is absolutely nothing in some of the stretches, including shade, particularly in the Riverina.
SPOT trackers and emergency bivvy bags will be required, along with usual common sense. Up to ten club trackers will be available, but all riders need to have a tracker.
This will likely be the flattest 1000 or 1200 that is possible.
The registration is open: here.
Note: there is a limit of 20 riders for this ride and places are filling fast.
