Ride Rules (PDF Document) The ride rules are developed and approved by Audax Australia's National Committee and are effective from 1 November 2009 replacing the earlier 1 November 2008 rules. Amendments were made to the 2008 rules in order to allow for over-length rides and optional shorter maximum time limits. After allowing a consultation for memebrs to comment on the implementation of the optional shorter maximum time limits, the National Committee has delegated authority to regions to approve such time limits.
Rules specific to Raids, Permanents, Audax 22.5 and the Fleche Opperman All Day Trial are provided in separate documents.
The Awards Policy is also set out in a separate document approved by the National Executive Committee. The Ride Rules should be read in conjunction wth the organiser guidelines and rider guidelines which provide valuable additional information. Brevet Permenant Rules (PDF Document)
