With 24mm of rain during the 50km event alone and after another 50mm overnight, it was always going a hard slog. A bunch of hardned riders executed loops of the Dandenongs and managed a smile back at the Gully bakery on what was a really a mid winter's day. Congratulations to all who attempted the ride.
The weather was registered next to one of the controls along the route and graphed from midnight. The ride commenced at 9am, along with the onset of more rain.
