You should call the ride organizer by the Thursday before a scheduled ride; they will tell you the exact starting time and place, the entry fee, and the level of support being provided (and hence what you will need to bring). All ride organisers are listed in the on-line calendar.
Audax SA Hot Weather Policy
Developed and implemented 13 January 1999
In response to concerns from recent hot weather on rides the committee has developed the following policy for hot weather on both on and off road rides. On days where the forecast maximum (taken from the 6pm news the night before) is greater than or equal to 37C only the shortest distance of any distance options will be offered. If this makes it difficult for riders to complete a series, then the committee will endeavour to make additional opportunities available to those affected. Riders will be required to carry a minimum of two 750mL water bottles or equivalent.
